Cairo – Mubasher: EgyptAir and Air Cairo signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance strategic partnership and support networks of the two companies, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported on Thursday.
This came in line with EgyptAir’s plan to increase its reach and bolster its existence in the local and international markets in the light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
The deal involves a codeshare agreement as the two airlines will coordinate operating flights at airports of Alexandria, Assiut, Sohag, Hurghada, and Sharm El-Sheikh, as well as Cairo International Airport, Sphinx International Airport, and New Administrative Capital Airport.
