EgyptAir inks deal with 6 export councils

Cairo – Mubasher: EgyptAir has signed a cooperation protocol with six export councils in order to facilitate Egyptian exporters’ trips overseas.

The six councils include furniture, household durables, ready-made clothes, textiles, and engineering industries, according to state news agency MENA.

This agreement will bolster exporters, particularly young exporters who were affected by the increase in travel ticket prices of flights to Brazil and Argentina, after the free trade agreement (FTA) has been activated between Egypt and the Southern Common Market (Mercosur), CEOs of these councils remarked.

In December, Egyptian Ministry of Trade and Industry has officially announced that it started the implementation of the FTA between Egypt and the Mercosur, which includes Brazil and Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay.
