Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt Aluminum (Egyptalum) considers establishing a new aluminum factory at a value of EGP 10 billion, the chairman of Egyptalum, Abdul Zahir Hassan, said.
The company will finance part of the project, while the companies which will execute the plant will cover the remaining share.
Hassan noted that the company has received a number of offers from France, China, and the Gulf in order to develop and meet the needs of both exporting and local market.
He clarified that these project proposals and their duration periods are being studied.
At the stock level, Egyptalum closed Thursday’s session 0.12% lower at EGP 34.39, with liquidity reaching EGP 1.5 million.
