Cairo - Mubasher: Trade exchange between Egypt and India surged by 13.5% year-on-year in 2017, reaching $3.5 billion, according to the head of the Egyptian Commercial Service Office (ECS).
Ahmed Antar noted that Egyptian exports to India grew by 15.5% last year to $1.2 billion, while imports from India increased by 12.5% to $2.3 billion.
The remarks by the head of the ECS came on the sidelines of the seventh edition of the Egyptian-Indian Joint Committee.
