Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Iron and Steel Company revealed that its sales grew by 25.6% year-on-year during the six-month period ended 31 December 2016.
According to the company’s statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Sunday, sales recorded EGP 620.96 million ($33.1 million) compared to EGP 494.27 million ($26.3 million) in the year before.
The statement also noted that production levels declined in the six-month from July to December by 14.9% and totalled 111,700 tonnes, compared to 131,300 tonnes in 2015.
