Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian-Japanese agreements that were signed during the presidential visit to Tokyo will be put into effect before the end of October.
The agreements include three projects worth $486.3 million and will be put in force after the approval of the parliament, the minister of international cooperation, Sahr Nasr, said.
The projects involve $243.3 million to raise the power efficiency and $91 million to establish a 20 megawatts (MW) photovoltaic power plant in Hurghada.
In addition, $152 million will be allocated to innovate Borg El Arab International Airport, according to a press release.
Moreover, Japan will contribute in developing around 100 schools in Egypt.
