Cairo- Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of Finance (MoF) has announced that, in collaboration with the Arab Organization of Industrialization, it will provide new kiosks (caravans) where real estate tax can be collected, only in seasonal places far from tax missions.
The first stage will cover the areas of North Coast, Ain Sokhna, Taba, as well as Ras Sedr, thus, making it easier for citizens instead of travelling to Cairo to pay tax dues, the MoF disclosed on Wednesday.
Real Estate tax missions are to be linked together automatically, where a precise electronic database will be created in collaboration with the Ministry of Military Production, the head of the Egyptian Real Estate Taxation Authority Samya Hussien said.
Several real estate tax missions all over Egypt are being developed in the current time to resemble the Fifth Settlement’s branch, launched in July 2019, Adviser to the Minister of Finance Sherif Hazem said, noting that developing the manpower is still necessary, as it is the key factor of guaranteeing the success of the whole process
