Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian Railways Maintenance and Services (ERMAS) reported a 170.5% year-on-year in 2018.
Net profits amounted to EGP 23 million last year, compared to EGP 8.5 million in 2017, according to a statement released by the Egyptian Ministry of Transportation.
ERMAS generated revenues of EGP 155.45 million in the twelve-month period ended 31 December, up from EGP 120 million in the year-ago period.
The transport minister Kamel El-Wazir, who chaired the general meeting of ERMAS, stressed on the importance of enhancing the efficiency of Egypt’s railway network infrastructure.
