Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian Resorts turned into losses in the second quarter of 2016, according to a bourse filing.
The company lost EGP 35.4 million during the second quarter, compared with EGP 183.9 million profits for the year-ago quarter, according to consolidated results.
Over the first half, the company logged EGP 36.9 million losses, compared with EGP 179.2 million losses for the first half of 2015.
The standalone results revealed that the company shed EGP 33.4 million in Q2-16 against EGP 172.8 million profits for Q2-15.
On a six-month basis, standalone profits reached EGP 4.1 million, down from EGP 169.9 million for the prior-year period.
The stock quote ended the trading session 3.7% higher to EGP 0.82 on Sunday.
