Egyptian S. Korean trade soars in 2018

Cairo – Mubasher: The value of trade exchange between Egypt and South Korea surged 52.5% year-on-year in 2018, Egyptian trade minister Amr Nassar stated.

The bilateral trade between both countries grew to $2.16 billion last year, compared to $1.416 billion the year before, Nasser added.

Egypt’s key exports to S. Korea included medicines, cement, electrical machines, and chemicals, the minister revealed.

Nasser said that the North African country’s imports from the Asian trade partner included cars, steel, machinery, and equipment.
