Egyptian-Saudi consortium to inject EGP 600m into int’l schools

Cairo – Mubasher: An Egyptian-Saudi consortium comprised of 10 businessmen will build two international schools in Egypt with EGP 600 million in investment, CEO of Egypt Learning Group Ayman Badr told Almal News.

Egypt Learning Group has partnered up with one of the major real estate firms to establish the schools in two residential complexes in the 6th of October city and Al Tagamoa Al Khames, Badr added.

Shareholders have agreed on floating stake of the company on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) by 2023, he indicated.

The first school is expected to inaugurate by the 2019/2020 school year, while the second school is projected to open in September 2020. Each school will be spanning 10 acres.

Last month, an Egyptian-Saudi consortium has launched Mena Health Partners (MHP) to pump around EGP 3 billion into establishing four hospitals in the North African nation.
