Cairo – Mubasher: The value of trade exchange between Egypt and Tunisia increased by $100 million year-on-year in 2019, data from the Egyptian Commercial Service showed, according to the Middle East News Agency.
Trade between the two Arab countries totalled $572.3 million last year, compared to $486.3 million in the year-ago period.
Egyptian exports to Tunisia reached $509.8 million in 2019 and included oils, petroleum products, cotton, textiles, and plastics.
Meanwhile, Egypt’s imports from Tunisia recorded $59 million and comprised non-organic chemicals, machines, appliances, and steel.
