Cairo – Mubasher: The deposits at the Egyptian banks have grown by 20% y-o-y in August 2016, according to the Central Bank of Egypt.
The total value of the deposits have reached EGP 2.172 trillion by the end of August 2016, compared with EGP 1.809 trillion at the end of same month of the previous year.
The governmental deposits have stood at EGP 369.9 billion, while the non – governmental deposits recorded EGP 1.80 trillion.
