Cairo – Mubasher: Total bank deposits in foreign currencies rose by 2.4% year-on-year in April 2018 to EGP 697.5 billion from EGP 680.9 billion.
On a monthly basis, banks' foreign deposits rose slightly last April, compared to EGP 693.69 billion in March, according to data by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The CBE had previously posted that Egypt’s net international reserves grew by 3% to $44.029 billion at the end of April 2018 from $42.611 billion a month earlier.
