Cairo - Mubasher: A report by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) showed on Monday an increase in the banking sector deposits by EGP 52 billion, totalling EGP 3.176 trillion in September, compared to 3.124 billion in August.
The CBE data showed that governmental deposits decreased to EGP 524.8 billion, with EGP 415.9 billion in the Egyptian pound, and EGP 108.86 billion in foreign currencies.
On the other hand, other deposits grew last September to around EGP 2.651 trillion, up from EGP 2.594 trillion in the months before.
