Cairo – Mubasher: Remittances from expatriate Egyptians rose by $894.7 million month-on-month in May, the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) revealed.
Egyptians’ remittances totalled $3 billion in May, compared to $2.1 billion a month earlier, the CBE said in a statement on Monday.
Year-on-year, total remittances from Egyptian expats increased by $390.1 million from $2.6 billion in May 2018.
