Egyptian gov’t invests EGP800bn in Gulf of Suez

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian government is investing EGP 800 billion in 1,000 projects in the governorates of the Gulf of Suez since mid-2014 to July 2020, the prime minister said.

The government has completed 751 projects now in 21 sectors at a combined value of EGP 360 billion, Mostafa Madbouli added during the inauguration of a number of national projects by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

Egypt is set to complete 243 projects with EGP 437 billion in investments in July 2022, Madbouli highlighted in a live broadcast on the Egyptian national TV.

The Gulf of Suez includes North Sinai, South Sinai, Suez, Ismailia, and Port Said.
