Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian hotels will be allowed to reopen for local guests as long as they operate at a 25% capacity until the end of May, the minister of tourism and antiquities Khaled El-Enany said.
Hotels will be required to implement several measures to protect the guests against the new coronavirus (COVID-19), according to a cabinet statement on Sunday.
By 1 June, hotels will be allowed to operate at a capacity of 50%.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Health announced the detection of 272 new COVID-19 cases and 14 new deaths on Sunday. The total number of infections reached 6,465, including 1,562 recoveries and 429 deaths.
