Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptians for Housing and Development (EHDR) reported a 79.4% year-on-year surge in its consolidated profits during the first quarter of 2019.
EHDR’s net profits grew to EGP 12.06 million in Q1-19, from EGP 6.72 million in Q1-18, according to a recent statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
Revenues reached EGP 16.53 million during the first three months of 2019, compared to EGP 16.41 million in the same period a year ago.
Year-on-year, EHDR’s standalone profits soared to EGP 5.45 million in Q1-19, against EGP 1.12 million.
During the full fiscal year 2018, the EGX-listed firm’s profits increased to EGP 22.75 million from EGP 27.08 million in 2017.
EHDR’s revenues tumbled to EGP 64.08 million last year, compared to EGP 146.8 million a year before.
