Mubasher: Egypt topped Arab visitor’s list to Qatar in 2017, although their number slid 46.4%, according to the Qatari Tourism Authority's report on Monday.
Egyptian visitors to Qatar reached 43,614 during the full-year 2017, compared to 81,300 a year earlier.
In 2016, Egypt ranked the 9th globally and the 6th among the Arab peers on Qatar visitor’s list, followed by Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the UAE, Oman and Kuwait, the report highlighted.
During 2017, the Arab world's most populous country ranked the 7th globally on Qatar visitor’s list, followed by India, the UK, the USA, Pakistan, China and Germany, especially after the four Arab nations boycotted Qatar since last summer.
