Cairo – Mubasher: The unaudited consolidated financial results of the Egyptian Transport and Commercial Services Co (Egytrans) recorded a 5% year-on-year profit decline during the first half of 2019.
Net profits totalled EGP 23.69 million in the January-June period of 2019, compared to EGP 24.96 million in the year-ago period, Egytrans said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Sunday.
Year-on-year, revenues rose to EGP 156.05 million in the six-month period ended 30 June, compared to EGP 124.12 million.
During the first quarter of 2019, Egytrans logged a profit of EGP 17.55 million, compared to EGP 13.83 million in Q1-18.
Revenue increased to EGP 89.02 million in the three-month period ended 31 March from EGP 62.34 million in the prior-year period.
