Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian Transport and Commercial Services (Egytrans) posted a jump of 354% in the second quarter's profits, a bourse statement revealed.
Q2 net profits thus reached EGP 12.49 million ($1.4 million), compared with EGP 2.75 million for the prior-year quarter.
Over the first six months, standalone net profits stood at EGP 16.07 million, compared with EGP 5.95 million in the first half of 2015.
Sales in the first half declined 8.4% year-over-year to EGP 72.9 million from EGP 79.6 million.
In the first quarter, the company recorded EGP 3.58 million standalone profits.
