Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian Transport and Commercial Services Company (Egytrans) said it has been awarded a contract worth EGP 16 million from Spain's Gamesa, a manufacturer of wind turbines.
Under the agreement, Egytrans will carry out all the transportation works related to Gebel El Zeit project 2.
The project comprises 110 towers and turbines with 220-megawatt wind power. It is scheduled to be finished through 2016.
Egytrans pointed out that it has completed the transportation of all the turbines and towers related to Gebel El Zeit 1 project for wind power.
