Cairo - Mubasher: Egyptian Transport and Commercial Services Company (Egytrans) is targeting revenues of EGP 160 million in 2017, according to chairwoman Abir Leheta on Tuesday.
Leheta added that Egytrans is targeting net profits worth EGP 18 million this year,
She also noted that foreign exchange gains account for 30-40% of total revenues, most of which come from the company's subsidiary Egyptian Transportation and Logistics (ETAL).
Egytrans has valued the US dollar at around EGP 17 in its new budget.
The company is also considering expansion in three transportation projects, including a project that began experimentally with five container trucks, as the beginning of a new big fleet for the companies, alongside two other projects that are currently under study, she indicated.
Leheta also revealed that Egytrans targeted investment in the transport sector amounting to EGP 4 million, financed through financial leasing.
