Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued the presidential decree No. 452 for 2018, which includes the approval of a KWD 50 million ($165 million) loan agreement from the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED).
The facility will be allocated for developing the wastewater plant in Bahr Al Baqar region in Sinai, according to the decree published in the official gazette on Thursday.
In July 2018, Egypt’s investment and international cooperation ministry and KFAED inked a KWD 50 million loan agreement to establish a wastewater project in Sinai.
The project aims to enhance the management of water resources and to expand the area of cultivated lands, investment and international cooperation minister Sahar Nasr previously said.
