Cairo — Mubasher: Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has issued a presidential decree to approve a $53.2 million loan provided by the OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID).
The credit facility, which was signed on 25 April in Cairo, will be earmarked to develop the second phase of wastewater and water treatment facilities in the Arab world's most populous country, the state-run Middle East News Agency (MENA).
In July, the Egyptian House of Representatives approved the decree.
