Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi issued the presidential decree no. 144 of 2020, approving a cooperation agreement between the Egyptian National Railways (ENR) and the European Investment Bank (EIB), the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported on Thursday.
The agreement, signed in Cairo on 5 February, includes a EUR 1.5 million grant financing a feasibility study for upgrading the Tanta-Mansoura-Damietta rail project.
