Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to attend the celebration of setting the cornerstone of the Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant.
Putin has accepted the invitation, as the date of his visit to the Dabaa plant will be agreed on by both presidents, according to the official spokesperson of the Egyptian Presidency.
The invitation was extended during El-Sisi’s meeting with his Russian counterpart at the BRICS summit, held in the Chinese city of Xiamen.
Last August, El-Sisi was in talks over the final terms for the new nuclear plant in El Dabaa with the new CEO of the Russian nuclear power company Rosatom.
