Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will inaugurate a mosque and a cathedral in the New Administrative Capital.
The new capital’s cathedral, spanning 15 acres, is set to be the largest in the Middle East.
By opening the mosque and the cathedral, Egypt will enter the age of smart cities, El-Sisi said in a statement.
The new religious monuments will be opened today in time for the Coptic Christmas mass.
The inauguration of the cathedral will be attended by the Egyptian President and Pope Tawadros II.
