Cairo – Mubasher: The net profits of Electro Cable Co. fell by 4% year-on-year (YoY) to EGP 82.13 million in the first half (H1) of 2020 from EGP 85.9 million.
The company’s sales slid to EGP 800.9 million in the January-June period, compared to EGP 1.18 billion in the same period in 2019, according to a bourse disclosure on Sunday.
On the other hand, the standalone net profits increased to EGP 57.44 million in H1-20 from EGP 21.17 million in H1-19.
During the first three months of the year, Electro Cable Co. reported net profits of EGP 5.26 million, down by 91.9% from EGP 65.16 million in the year-ago period.
