Elsewedy Electric, EEHC to set up EGP3.6m power lines in El-Dabaa

Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian Electricity Holding Co (EEHC) has signed an agreement with Elsewedy Electric Co to set up power lines at a total value of EGP 3.6 billion.

These lines will be used to link El Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant, planned to be built in the Matrouh governorate, to the national electricity grid, sources told Alborsa News.

The Arab world's largest listed cable maker is set to finalise the project in six months, the sources added.

EEHC is currently negotiating with local banks financing the project over the loans, the sources indicated.

Financing contracts are forecast to be signed within a week, according to the sources.
