Cairo – Mubasher: Elsewedy Electric Company’s subsidiary Elsewedy Cables Qatar has signed a contract worth QAR 124 million ($34 million) with the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa).
Under the contract, Elsewedy Cables Qatar will supply high-voltage ground cables in order to expand Qatar’s transport network, according to a bourse filing released on Tuesday.
Elsewedy Electric owns a 24.5% stake in Elsewedy Cables Qatar.
