Cairo – Mubasher: Elsewedy Electric Co announced that its 99.9%-owned subsidiary Egytech Cables signed a new engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract with the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) to build the new regional control centre for the transmission network for Delta Zone Lot II.
The EGP 193 million project will be established over an 18-month period starting from the date of receiving the down payment on a turnkey basis, according to a bourse disclosure on Sunday.
During the first nine months of 2020, Elsewedy Electric Co achieved net profits of EGP 1.93 billion, down from EGP 2.78 billion in the year-ago period, including minority shareholders’ rights.
