Cairo – Mubasher: Elsewedy Electric T&D, a subsidiary of Elsewedy Electric Co., on Tuesday announced signing an EGP 445 million contract with Canal Sugar Co. to establish a substation and link its project to the factory’s main power station.
The project is expected to be delivered within 10 months as of the signing date, the Arab world's largest listed cable company said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
For the full-year 2018, the Cairo-based firm’s logged a profit of EGP 5.11 billion, compared to EGP 6.48 billion in 2017, including minority shareholders’ rights.
