Emaar Hospitality to manage 250-room Manar Mall

Dubai – Mubasher: Rove Hotels, a joint venture between Meraas Holding and Emaar Properties, has signed a management agreement with Al Hamra, a Ras Al Khaimah-based developer, to manage the 250-room Manar Mall.

The construction of the new mall will start in 2018, while project operations are scheduled to begin in 2020, according to a company statement released on Wednesday.

“Manar Mall is the leading hub for social, retail, and leisure activity in Ras Al Khaimah, and a major draw for the growing number of tourists to the emirate,” Al Hamra’s general manager Benoy Kurien commented.

Rove Manar Mall’s rooms will feature various comfort options along with a smart media hub, free high-speed Wi-Fi, ultramodern bathrooms, and 24-hour boutique convenience store, the statement showed.

Emaar Hospitality Group’s CEO Olivier Harnisch said that his company was "thankful to the Ras Al Khaimah government and Al Hamra for their trust in us in contributing to the emirate’s hospitality sector.”

Rove Hotels operates five hotels in Dubai, namely: Rove Downtown, Rove City Centre, Rove Healthcare City, Rove Trade Centre, and Rove Dubai Marina.

The two companies did not reveal further details regarding the deal’s consideration.
