Emaar Properties’ unit acquires stake in Gutmann Systems Middle East

Dubai - Mubasher: Emaar Properties’ unit, Emaar Industries & Investments (EII), has taken over a stake in Gutmann Systems Middle East, a regional provider of architectural aluminium glazing systems.

EII will boost Gutmann Systems Middle East’s geographic market in the region and expand its business opportunities through its rich market experience, the company said in a statement released on Tuesday.

“Our strategy is to partner with high-growth enterprises that operate in promising industrial sectors and have a proven track-record in delivering quality work,” CEO of EII Nasser Batha said.

Gutmann Systems Middle East has been operating in various projects in the region including Habtoor Grand Resort & Spa in Dubai, Mixed Tower Developments in Dubai Marina & Jumeirah Lake Towers, Dubai Creek Harbour, and Le Souk in Abu Dhabi, EII noted.

“The strategic partnership with EII will be a game-changer for our operations in the region, as we continue to grow our footprint and business,” Gutmann Systems Middle East’s managing director Nael Afieh. 

Working closely with developers, architects, consultants and contractors, Gutmann specialises in providing workable and engineered design solutions within the commercial, residential, hospitality, leisure and retail building sectors.

Gutmann produces a range of products, such as unitised systems; casement, tilt/turn and pivot windows; casement, sliding, pivot, bi-folding, and minimal frame system doors.

EII did not disclose the deal’s consideration nor the stake’s percentage.
