Dubai – Mubasher: Emaar Properties on Thursday confirmed news that it was indeed in talks over the same of some of its hotels.
Emaar “is in discussion with a number of parties for the sale of certain hotels,” the Dubai-based and listed developer said in a bourse filing.
It added that it would disclose any updates or details if these “discussions materialise to a final transaction.”
The statement comes after news outlets reported that Emaar was planning to sell some of its hotel assets.
No further details were disclosed.
By 11:52 am UAE time, Emaar’s stock traded 2.35% higher to AED 5.22.
