Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai's Emaar Properties on Thursday invited contractors to present their offers for Umm Al Quwain Canal contract, setting 11 February as a deadline for offer submittal.
The potential contenders are Netherlands’ BAM International, China Harbour Engineering, Dutco, overseas AST Company, and Belgium's BESIX, according to MEED magazine.
Umm Al Quwain Canal's contract includes digging 1.5 kilometres canal, constructing 3 kilometres dock, and paving 500 cubic metres of rocks, Al Khaleej newspaper reported.
