Dubai – Mubasher: Emaar Properties' board recommended on Monday 15% dividends or 15 fils per share for fiscal year 2016, amounting to AED 1.07 billion, according to a bourse statement.
The company’s capital amounts to AED 7.16 billion, distributed on 7.16 billion shares at AED 1 per share.
The shareholders’ annual meeting will be held on 17 April to discuss the board’s recommended dividends.
The board appointed Low Ping as an additional board member to fill the vacant seat on the board.
Trading on Emaar Properties’ shares had been suspended just two hours after the session opened on Monday, in line with its board meeting on the same day, until results were disclosed.
