Dubai – Mubasher: Emaar Properties has pushed up the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) by the end of Thursday’s trading session on the back of the company’s recent expansion in China.
The DFM’s general index closed today’s session 0.79% up at 2,620.33 points, gaining 20.63 points.
The consumer goods sector led the rising sectors with DXB Entertainments adding 2.56% to AED 0.200.
Meanwhile, the real estate sector jumped 1.36%, backed by Emaar’s anticipated investment in the Beijing Daxing International Airport, expected to be the largest airport in the world.
Most of the blue-chips stocks saw a bullish trend including Commercial Bank of Dubai and Air Arabia which jumped 2.63% and 2.10%, respectively.
Trading volume amounted to 159.39 million shares exchanged at a turnover of AED 206.09 million through 3,589 transactions.
