Emaar pushes DFM lower at Wednesday’s open

Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a bearish performance in Wednesday’s early trades.

The main index fell 0.24% or 8.89 points to reach 3,640.46 points by 11:12 am UAE time.

The banks sector sank 0.93% as Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD), Ajman Bank, and Al Salam Bank declined 9.80%, 1.68%, and 1.35%, respectively.

The real estate sector went down 0.33% after Union Properties (UP), Emaar Properties, Drake and Scull International (DSI), and Deyaar tumbled 1.08%, 0.83%, 0.50%, and 0.19%, respectively.

Turnover amounted to AED 115.33 million after trading 88.77 million shares through 1,444 transactions.
