Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a positive performance in Wednesday’s early trades, spurred by the rise of Emaar Properties .
The general index rose 0.13% or 4.83 points to reach 3,723.34 points by 10:40am UAE time.
The insurance sector topped gainers with a 2.7% increase as Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Co (Aman) and Dar Al Takaful levelled up 8% and 7.02% respectively.
The real estate sector grew 0.15% after Emaar went up 0.4%. Similarily, the consumer staples sector added 0.04% as DXB Entertainments climbed 0.8%.
Turnover amounted to AED 231.78 million after trading 186.84 million shares through 2,175 transactions.
