Dubai – Mubasher: Emirates District Cooling Company (Emicool) revealed plans to expand in the UAE by adopting a new approach covering the industrial, commercial, and residential sectors in the GCC nation.
Owned by Dubai Investments, Emicool will also step up its offers for these sectors in other countries, Emicool’s CEO Adib Moubadder said.
He added that the company’s five-year strategy aims to raise its plant capacity, providing up to 500,000 tonnes of refrigeration to 40,000 customers, Al Khaleej newspaper reported.
In February, investors started talks to acquire a 30% stake in Emicool, people familiar with the issue said, adding that Dubai Investments was mulling over the offers.
