Dubai – Mubasher: Emirates airline and Flydubai will expand their strategic partnership in 2019.
Under the deal, which came into effect at the end of October 2017, new codeshare destinations are expected to be added.
The partnership has delivered greater global connectivity, flexibility with flight options, one integrated loyalty programme, and the convenience of travelling on a single ticket since its launch.
Moreover, Flydubai is expected to launch new destinations to Naples and Budapest, in addition to others that will be announced in due course, the UAE's budget airline said in a statement.
“The partnership between Emirates and flydubai has really taken off and we are very pleased with what has been achieved. It has not only delivered tangible benefits to our collective customers, but also to both airlines in terms of the synergies that come with working closely together,” Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman and CEO of Emirates Group and chairman of Flydubai, said.
