Mubasher: International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) announced on Wednesday it has signed a 10-year deal with Emirates to manage its information technology (IT) infrastructure.
The $85 million agreement will enable the Emirati airline to focus its efforts on strategic initiatives.
IBM will handle day-to-day management of the airline’s infrastructure.
The new deal expands upon a services agreement signed between the two parties in 2016, according to a statement issued by IBM.
IBM will also implement a private cloud solution at the airline’s data centers in Dubai.
