Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Dubai government-owned Emirates Airline has been ranked the sixth among the world’s best airlines, according to AirlineRatings's recent data.
Singapore Airlines topped the list, followed by Air New Zealand, Qantas and Qatar Airways, the world's only safety and product rating website said.
“One of the standouts in the industry for decades, [Singapore Airlines] has returned to its best with a new product, new aircraft and new innovative flights such as the Singapore-New York non-stop. Quite simply, the airline is the gold standard,” Geoffrey Thomas, editor-in-chief of airlineratings.com, said.
Emirates, the world’s largest airline by international passengers, won the best in terms of in-flight entertainment category as being one of the pioneers.
