Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Emirates Global Aluminum will provide BMW with high-quality UAE-made aluminum for manufacturing some the German group's engines, according to a press on Tuesday.
This agreement is the first direct contract with a major automotive group to supply aluminum for three years, the press release indicated.
"Winning BMW as a direct customer is important for EGA because their standards are so high, both for the aluminum itself and how it is made. EGA produces high-quality aluminum with world-class efficiency and environmental responsibility. We have spent decades developing technology in the UAE to improve our processes and make this possible," said Abdulla Kalban, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of EGA.
