Emirates Group to upgrade aircraft interiors at AED 505mn

Dubai – Mubasher: Emirates Group unveiled a plan to refurbish seats in its Boeing 777-200LR fleet, with total investments of AED 505 million ($150 million), according to a company statement released on Tuesday.

The UAE-based carrier revamped 10 Boeing 777-200LR jet interiors including 30 seats in business class and 264 seats in economy class.

In January, Emirates announced that it has inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Airbus to acquire up to 36 A380 jets.

Emirates Group is a Dubai-based aviation company headquartered in Garhoud.
