Dubai-Mubasher: Emirates NBD said it has no “critical information” to be disclosed regarding what has been published in the news about its attempt to purchase Barclays’ Egyptian unit, according to a statement.
Barclays has begun a formal process to sell its Egyptian branch, sources familiar with the matter said early August, adding that at least Emirates NBD and Morocco’s Attijariwafa Bank expressed interest in the business.
