Dubai – Mubasher: Emirates SkyCargo stated that it had begun operating two weekly Boeing 777 Freighter flights between Dubai World Central airport and Maastricht, according to a company statement.
The Boeing 777 jets have a cargo capacity of 100 tonnes and can accommodate large and outsized shipments, the company added.
“The Netherlands is one of our most important cargo markets globally and the freighters to Maastricht will allow us to build a stronger presence to respond to customer needs in the region,” said Nabil Sultan, Emirates divisional senior vice president for cargo, commented.
Emirates SkyCargo plans to increase the Maastricht flights to a daily frequency as of the end of March.
